Buyer, beware.

Buyer, beware:  if you’re here for a Bible study, you are in the wrong place.  You can get your money back at the door.

This is NOT a Bible study.  It’s just my weird, random thoughts as I read through Job.  I purposely didn’t consult commentaries or read the notes in my Bible or seek any outside help along the way as I plodded through the throes of Job.  Or at least I haven’t yet, and I’m about halfway through my musings.

Actually, that’s not entirely true.  I did ask the Internet some quantifiable questions about Job, things like how many verses there are in the whole book and how many words there are in the whole book.  Things like that are just not as much fun to wonder about (at least not to me).

I know I missed some really obvious stuff, and I know you who know more about Job than I do (i.e., almost all y’all) will see glaring mistakes in my random musings.  And I’m okay with that.  I’ll go back and supplement it with study later (maybe), but this whole endeavor is really nothing more than me allowing myself to follow whatever word trails strike me.

This is a little Bible wonder that might spark some wonder in your own head, too.  (I mean, aside from “Man, that Sarah is an odd bird.”)

May we all find the space and the time this Advent to wonder and wander.
